I borrowed a movie from a sexually sophisticated friend. The film, Bill and Desiree: Love is Timeless, was part of a documentary series that showed authentic couples having sex. In this case it was Bill and Desiree. Bill had a grey beard and looked like a college professor – not your typical lead in an adult film. Desiree was a lovely woman in her late 40’s or early 50’s. She wore little makeup and had a natural, radiant beauty – if you were smart enough to look.
I’m not particularly drawn to porn. In my mind this didn’t fit into the category. It’s so rare to witness the sexuality of older lovers – it felt like a glimpse into a world that’s taboo for no reason.
Bill and Desiree gave me a gift. I got to witness their tenderness, pleasure and sizzle. She shared with the cameras and therefore me her sweet laughter, erotic appetite and multiple orgasms. He was a champion with his finesse, patience and attentiveness.
What made the film digestible for me was the interview portion. Fully clothed, they shared with us how they met and fell in love. Later he read a poem he wrote for them. He got choked up at the end. I could feel how lucky he felt to have found Desiree.
There were unexpected erotic moments that I won’t spoil. Check out the film and learn how two skilled lovers demonstrate flow, awareness and all around yum.
