I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing a Kickstarter campaign for over a year now. I’ve got an investor – I need funds to take care of the legal paperwork. It’s time to do it!
And I am uncomfortable.
Last night I calculated how much I would need, not just for my project but also to cover the transactions fees and cost for backer rewards. The answer is $7,700. I have this feeling like $5,000 I can do, but more – it’s feels like too much.
I’m not confident about raising my goal because I’m not wholly and completely out. There are tons of people I know who are unaware of this show and it’s subject matter. I believe the only way my Kickstarter campaign has a ghost of a chance of being successful is if I’m sharing it with e – v – e – r – y – o – n – e.
