I read Naomi Wolf’s book, Vagina, and learned this important fact: women love with their noses.

In a scientific study, women were asked to smell different well-worn tee shirts of a bunch of different guys. They were asked based on smell alone which guys they found attractive. Every woman picked the guy whose DNA complimented her own. This means women are biologically attracted to men who will help them make healthier babies. Interesting, right? Cool, right?

But there were a few women in the study who   didn’t pick the complimentary DNA guys. They were picking randomly. The researches went back to the data to figure out why these women didn’t have the same spidey sense as their sisters.

The answer? Each of these women was on the pill. The pill fools the woman’s body into thinking she is pregnant. A woman’s sense of smell is different when she is pregnant. And what smells attractive to her is different than when she is ovulating.
So get this scenario – a couple falls in love. She’s been on the pill the whole time. They get married. She goes off the pill because the couple wants to start a family. She is no longer attracted to him; he doesn’t smell yummy to her anymore.

She feels horrible. He feels rejected. They have no idea what is going on. The problem is biological and no one’s fault.

So now we know – spread the word about this, peeps!
