I’m straddling two worlds:
World A: I’m a freelance corporate trainer
World B: I’m a budding “Coming Out Kinky” show performer/sex educator.
Freelance work is slow and it scares me. And the negotiations with the show’s investor are going smoothly but slowly. And so I’m in the in-between place. I find myself feeling terrorized and terrified. Getting good business advice is helpful, but to feel safe at the core, I need more.
I attended a workshop over the weekend and the group was asked to write a want ad for the kind of God that we would want. The facilitator, Evan, said “The sky’s the limit – ask for the best God you can think of!” That’s what I need to help me – a really, really, really good God. And so here’s mine:
Wanted: God-dess
A lovely higher power who is both male and female.The male part wants to hold my hand, cuddle with me for however long I ever want to. The male wants to nourish me and care for me. The goddess wants for me to have luscious experiences and sensual pleasures. She wants me to sing, dance, write, perform and roar. Roar for the joy of feeling huge, spacious, powerful and beautiful.
Together they guide and support me with crystal clear intuition and an unshakable, unconditional self-love. They provide for me mystical moments and glittering, magical experiences galore. They are with me in the in-between moments and fill them and me with gentleness and grace. They clear a path for me to learn the techniques to care for this human body and soul including food, friendships and fun. They restore to me my playful, joyous nature and reclaim with me whimsy, delight and happiness to be alive. They teach me my value and guide me to a glorious multi-dimensional prosperity beyond my wildest dreams.
