Read This Book

I knew that I would enjoy reading Embraceable because I wrote a chapter! I’m proud of what I wrote. What I didn’t know is how it would feel reading what all of the other women featured in the book said. I learned new and amazing things about womanhood! I am bowled away by the courage, grit and beauty of each woman. Our stories come together – patterns become clear. Particularly about sexual trauma – how common, how familiar and how utterly appalling. But also, what it can be like to hold, appreciate and yes, embrace our sexual selves. It is like balm to our wounds. It is the surging current of our shared feminine humanity. I am so proud to be among this amazing group of women. Read this book. @AugustMcLaughlin #Embraceable
